Yes. All new clients begin with a complimentary meet & greet. This allows us to get to know you and your dog, review routines, and ensure we’re a great fit before care begins.

Payment is due prior to the start of services. We accept digital payments (such as Venmo, Zelle, or similar methods). Details are provided at booking.

Walks & drop-in visits: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
In-home sitting & boarding: A 48-hour notice is required.

Yes. A holiday rate of $15 per visit or night applies on major holidays and peak travel dates.

Yes. The Neighborly Leash is fully insured, and your dog’s safety and well-being are always our top priority.

We proudly serve ONLY Waxhaw, NC. Limiting our service area allows us to provide recurring, consistent, and reliable care.

Yes. We can administer Oral medications at no additional charge; some injectable medications can be administered for an additional fee. We have experience with dogs requiring routine medical care.

Please let us know during your meet & greet. With a background in service-dog training, we’re comfortable working with many special-needs dogs and will always communicate honestly about what care we can provide.
